Word of God tells us that Jesus will be held in heaven till the times of restoration of all things spoken by the holy prophets since the world begun. I have found it quite interesting how this term restoration of all things has become so trendy in the certain circles in christianity lately. Different things are tried to be restored but we have to know what God is restoring and what has already been restored. Otherwice we end up operating in our own business and not in our Heavenly Fathers business. If we try to restore something that has been already restored by God we end up wasting our time and God´s time. If we try to restore something that God doesn´t want to restore we are as well wasting our time and God´s time. Im thankful that He is so patient with us and remains faithful even when we don´t believe.
Now it came strongly to my heart to write about this because I have been facing so many times this year the same issue: People want to restore the tabernacle of David. Im going to show in very short and clear way that it has already been restored about 2000 years ago so we can all move on.
Acts.15: 12 ¶Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them. 13 ¶And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me: 14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. 15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. 19
This was a meeting in the early church where we got the decicion that the gentile believers don´t need to keep the law of Moses but to follow those few important commandments. No God is not going to restore those eating regulations and such to His church again. Even Jesus declared all the foods to be clean!
Brother James here brings it up in the holy scripture that actually the word of the prophesy in Amos.9:11-12 has been fulfilled.
So what is the tabernacle of David restored? Tabernacle of David restored is the church that Jesus set up on the day of pentecost when the Holy Spirit came. That was a great day of restoration! Later on the churc spred and even the gentiles in the nations heard the good news and became a part of this church that was set up back then even though Jesus still keeps building it. Through this church a non stop 24/7 praise, worship, prayer and so on goes up to God all the time because we pray and worship God without ceasing in our Spirits and even out of our mouths and it´s happening in the nations all the time praise God! We can say that the tabernacle of David is another prophetic name to the church of the living God and all of us who have been born again, babtized and filled with the Holy Spirit are inside of it.
Im so glad that even when Im a sleep my Spirit is worshipping God and when Im awake it´s still happening inside of me and even quite often the praises come out of my mouth. Jesus has one body on this earth and Im 100% sure that in different parts of the world in every second and hour of the day and night some part of His body in some part of the world is lifting up a voice to exalt the name of Jesus. Im so glad that Jesus did it for us and we can be in this tabernacle.
